PUBLIC PROCUREMENT NATIONAL INSTITUTE (PPNI)

PPNI is non-government organization which have professional member from the field of public procurement and concessions. These experts share the idea of transparency, accountancy and effectiveness during the management process and budget resources adoption.

PPNI continues the heritage of the American Agency for international development (USAID) in the field of audit and public procurement by the “Open government Initiative” Project of USAID which was in power in the period 2002-2007.

The main partners of this project are presented in the Management Board of PPNI, thanks to whom were established the normative base and good practices in the area of public procurement and competitive procedures. These are the Bulgarian National Office Audit, Ministry of economics and energetic, Public procurement Agency, Ministry of regional development and public works, Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and the project team of the “Open government Initiative” Project by USAID.
